Teams Set for the Dubai Challenge Cup 2019 Final

The last of the qualifiers at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club had AM Polo defeat Shanshal/PBS and settled the match with 8 goals to 5.5.

The game took off into a fast start with Shansal/PBS carrying a one and a half goal advantage. Goals that came in from both teams and concluded the first chukker at 3.5 - 3 in favour of Shansal/PBS. AM Polo took the lead by the end of the second chukker with a goal from Sheikha Alya Al Maktoum, patron of the team. Past halftime, AM Polo widened the goal advantage with two goals from Guillermo Cuitino. Shansal/PBS was not able to close in on AM given the time constraint plus the additional goal scored by Cuitino.

The Dubai Challenge Cup, a 12 goal handicap tournament will declare its new Champions on the 27th of March 2019 at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, Field 2. The Subsidiary Final is between Dubai Wolves and Shansal/PBS at 15:00 and the Final will have UAE Polo and AM Polo teams compete for the trophy at 16:30.
