Habtoor Polo Wins the Halloween Cup 2018

The first tournament of the polo season caps off with a spectacular afternoon of sporting action and fun. An energetic crowd witnessed four teams compete during the Halloween Cup Final wherein the Habtoor Polo team proudly lifted the trophy as victors scoring 10 – 5.5 against the Rhinos Polo team.  UAE/RA Polo team emerged as the subsidiary winner by defeating Mahra Polo scoring 9 – 5.5. The mare - Michelle, was awarded the tournament's Best Playing Pony.

The action was not only on the field with professionals playing the Sport of Kings. The Al Habtoor Polo Club and Resort had given away prizes with a total value of AED 16,500 to fortunate guests. The anticipation was imminent until the call for the search of three special coins in the polo field was announced. Each coin came with it AED 2,500 in cash, two La Perle Gold Tickets, a Spa or a Dinner Voucher for two and a Complimentary Riding Lesson. The Club had also awarded AED 1,500 worth of prizes to two children who came in their best Halloween costumes for the day.
