Zedan wins and will play the Subsidiary final of the Dubai Challenge Cup against Abu Dhabi

29th March 2017, DUBAI, UAE:  Zedan Polo Team defeated Bangash by 7 goals to 5 in today´s Subsidiary Semifinal of the Dubai Challenge Cup and will play the Subsidiary Final against Abu Dhabi next friday.

 

In today´s match, Bangash had the control of the actions and the score during almost all the game but in the last chukker superstar Pablo Mac Donough showed up to change things and give Zedan the victory.

 

From the very beginning, patron Haider Bangash team fought hard to take control of the game and with a great teamwork achieved a 2 goal gap in the score, difference that kept till the fourth period.

In the last 14 minutes Zedan, led by Mac Donough, closed the gap to 1 goal and kept on going in the last chukker for a final 7 goals to 5 triumph.

 

Pablo Mac Donough was the top scorer of the match with 5 goals and Federico Von Potobsky the top scorer in Bangash Polo with 3 goals.

Zedan: 0-2/ 1-3/ 2-4/ 4-5/ 7-5

 

The Dubai Challenge Cup will continue next Friday at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club with the great final between Habtoor Polo and Bin Drai from 4.30 pm.

Dubai Sports Council:

Dubai Sports Council is the official government body responsible for the development of the sport sector in the Emirate of Dubai. Under the Chairmanship of H.H.
