New Year Cup
The final polo match of the year was a friendly one between family. Habtoor Polo met Mahra Polo in a fast-paced 5 chukker match on the newly inaugurated field 2 of the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.

The first chukker saw both teams score and a fluid game of back and forth with a lot of action. By the second chukker the teams were equal at 2 goals each. Habtoor Polo took their advantage in the third chukker and by half time were leading with one point. In the second half they continued to dominate and ended the 4th chukker 6-3. The fifth and last chukker Alejandro Gowland scored for Mahra polo bringing them up to 4 goals and Habtoor polo responded with two goals, one off the stick of Justo Cuitino and one in the last minute from Mohammed Al Habtoor with the final score being 8-4 to Habtoor Polo.
